2nd time in, and we're already running late
Yes, I know we're running late on new updates on the second round of stories. But since no one has found us yet, we're not really that worried about it.

Man On Roof
True story.
There is a point between sleeping and waking where, just for a moment you will accept whatever happens as being reality. It's the point where you cross from dream to real life, and you're not sure what has come with you for a ride...
That is why it took me a moment to react to the thumping from above my head. The first reaction from my mind was to incorporate it into the dream (the dream was about a giant leach that turned into a school bus, so it wasn't particularly difficult to add it into the dream, I think it was a percussion group that started up at the back of the bus), but the thumping was insistent and eventually my brain hauled itself out of Neutral and into First Gear. It sounds as if...

Story 1 - Boy vs Girl - Part III
Dr Wurztory levelled the barrel of his Manual Antimatter Neutraliser (MAN), pointing it directly at the ruby red breastplate of his arch enemy, Captain Nerissa Nebulae. Without flinching, he flicked the neutralise rating to Bio-Oxidizer mark-Lambda (BO-λ), thereby setting his weapon to kill. All it would take was the slightest movement from Nerissa, and he would end their lifelong feud in a fraction of a millisecond.

She’s always rushing around
He doesn’t notice when the house needs cleaning
“Guess what?” doesn’t mean she wants him to guess
He never makes an effort
She takes too long in the bathroom
He empties the bin without replacing the bin liner
She leaves the tea towel scrunched up on the oven handle
